Step away from the debate, ladies. Well, mostly you Hasselbeck; the human race is not ‘a great pair of shoes’.
I can see where Hasselbeck is coming from and what she’s trying to say about God and her Christian beliefs, but I think it is funny comparing the human race to a pair of shoes.
We know shoes are created. We know how it’s done. We don’t have that level of knowledge about the human race.
Not to mention the basic flaw with the whole creationism vs. evolution debate anyway – you can believe in both. Evolution only examines the progress of life that already existed; you still have the question of how it exists in the first place.
