The feminist movement started in the late 60’s and has progressed a lot since then. Not only do women today have more power than ever before, but feminist values have become distilled in American culture.

While I don’t agree with Bill 100% in his views, I can agree with about 90% of the points he makes in this clip. Any movement that strives for the well being of one specific group of people is simply selfish. By making women seem like a totally different species than men, it just makes everything worse for everyone.
Sure, women still make less money than men statistically and the ideal female model portrayed in the media is still completely unrealistic. However, it should be noted that these factors are exploited constantly in romantic movies and books like “Men Are From Mars, Women are from Venus.”
