This video shows what it’s like to try to learn something new on YouTube. The example shown is magic tricks, but this can be expanded into other areas.
YouTubers seem to assume you have a certain amount of knowledge on a subject matter. And that you can see exactly what they’re doing.
The problem is seeing something being done is only half the battle. I could watch someone replace a car engine in person but I wouldn’t then be able to replicate the process.
Wags are pointing out that there are some elements missing. Such as the 10 minutes YouTubers spend chatting about random crap and the calls to support them on Patreon.
