Not being a valedictorian myself, I have to assume that you must have performed to a certain academic level in the first place to get the nod to let your classmates choose the person they think is the smartest of the whole bunch.
I vaguely remember who our valedictorian was, and definitely don’t recall one word from his speech, but perhaps if he put it into a stand-up comedy show much like this nominee did, I might remember which teacher did in fact have the best rack.
This guy sure does have a natural talent for public speaking. I’d rather tweaze every hair off my leg than get up and make a speech in front of hundreds of people (although I have), and especially in front of my high school classmates. He can definitely put these skills to good use in the future… just memorize a little bit more and your golden.
