Windows 8 will be released before the end of the year, and the beta is available to download already. But while tech-savvy folk may be fine with using it, what about ordinary users?
This guy decides to see what would happen if his dad was presented with the Windows 8 Beta and told to have a play to see what he thinks. With results that should worry Microsoft.
Dad clicks on Windows Explorer. He then spends almost four minutes trying to figure out how to exit Windows Explorer, which is now an app, and return to the Metro UI homepage.
The problem with Windows 8 is it’s Microsoft trying to please everyone, catering to both desktop and tablet users. What it may end up doing is pleasing neither group, and be pretty much unusable in the process.
