Gears of War 2 is one of the big exclusive Xbox 360 games that Microsoft is using to pound the PS3 with. Aside from the Halo games, there isn’t really anything on the console which can tough this game.
So what better way to celebrate this than by setting the game to rap. Yes, Gears of War 2 has been given a hip-hop makeover, with a cheesy but still brilliant rap telling the story of the game.
There seems absolutely no rhyme or reason to doing this, but it works for some utterly bizarre reason. Could this lead to a trend where rather than text or video reviews of games, journalists instead choose to rap about their views on them?
Gears of War 2 is a game that deserves to be played. Whether it deserves to be rapped about is another matter. Having said that, Soulja Boy is a renowned gamer (and douchebag) so maybe he’ll turn this into a single? It surely couldn’t be any worse than his previous efforts.
