I must admit I’d never heard of Mister Rogers until earlier today. And now I’ve heard him singing from beyond the grave. Ah, the wonders of the InterWebs.
As discovered by me earlier today, Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood was a kids show that ran from 1968 to 2001 on PBS. There were 895 episodes in all, with Fred Rogers starring in them all.
Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood was simple-yet-effective children’s television, with the titular Rogers talking directly to the audience about a subject or demonstrating how something worked.
Thanks to a nice tune playing in the background, and with some auto-tuning effects added to his voice, Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood has been turned into an awesome music video that has gone viral.
