What a difference eight years makes. George W. Bush leaves office this month a gibbering idiot, who will be remembered for his gaffs and “Bushisms.” But when he became the president, it seems he was a completely different person.
As this footage from the 2000 campaign shows, George W. Bush used to be the kind of person we might want to vote for. He spoke of nation-building and a humble approach to foreign policy. And he spoke of them using the correct words and complete sentences.
This video makes me ask some important questions. What happened? And if it happened to Bush, could it happen to Obama? Surely not!
