Glee is a truly fantastic television show. I’m not exactly the target audience and yet I love it to bits.
However, would I love it so much if Glee were a video game from the 8-Bit era of the 1980s? This video, which is interactive and offers a choice at the end, tests that theory.
The people behind these videos have got everything spot-on. From the animation at the beginning to the stylized versions of all the main characters. And best of all is the way the story of the first season is simplified down to its core components.
The only problem is the gameplay; if the Glee game had existed then it likely wouldn’t have won any awards. But as a spoof video made in 2010 looking back on what could have been, it should win loads.
