Gone With The Wind stars Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh, both of whom show of their acting skills at the height of their games. And it’s a love story played on top of the setting of the most dramatic periods of history – the American Civil War.

70 years on and Gone With The Wind is showing its age. There’s also the gender and race issues which at the time weren’t even thought of but which now go against how we see the world.

Despite all this, Gone With The Wind is a masterpiece that you should see at least once in your life. Thankfully, it’s almost Christmas and it’s always shown on TV at Christmas.
