Google Earth 4.2 Video | Includes New Ability To Explore The Sky & Space

The new version of Google Earth is upon us: Google Earth 4.2. This version adds the ability to explore the sky, space and the planets and constellations.

This is a very cool feature, and takes Google Earth one step further towards being able to map the entire universe.

Starting with the ability to view the sky above your current location, a few button presses and you can explore lots more.

When I bought a PC and hooked it up to the Internet all those years ago, I never imagined I’d be able to zoom in, pan and look around hundreds of different galaxies.

This new feature also includes the ability to overlay photos from the Hubble space telescope, which to a sad stargazer such as me is very exciting.
