You’ve probably seen those pretty eye-catching ads on TV about this device. It looks like a laptop, it’s made with Google technology, and it’s only $249.
After wanting to see what the fuss was all about, I decided to watch an actual hands-on-review. The device is surprisingly well worth the price.
Now, since I use OSX and Windows applications on my Mac (running parallels), I would have a hard time adjusting to this device for my work. However, I’m sure there are a number of people that would be fine with using the online versions of apps like Photoshop and Google Drive to store information.
Another thing that I would like to point out is the potential of Google-spying (as I like to call it), or the fact that all of your actions could be easily tracked by google. If you are concerned about the growing internet privacy laws, this might not be the best machine for you to buy.
