You may have noticed the Google homepage getting a little busier and more colorful over the past 24 hours, with fancy images replacing the usual plain white background.
This is a new feature available to Google users, and the search giant is therefore promoting it. This is a video tutorial showing how you can change the image so that it’s one of your choosing.
Changing your Google Search background image is actually rather simple, as are most innovations Google introduces. But it’s still nice to be told of the best way to go about achieving the desire effect.
I think I’ll be sticking to the plain white background on Google. Yes, it’s boring, but I don’t need anything flashy when I’m searching the Web. And if I did want something a little flashier, I’d use Microsoft Bing instead.
