Google is trying its hand at social networking once more, with Google+ its latest attempt to try and steam back users from the likes of Facebook and Twitter.
Let’s hope it’s better than Google Wave and Google Buzz, at least.
Google hasn’t grasped what’s required to build a successful social network yet. And it doesn’t help when the team demonstrating the technology and the system behind one of the products fails hard on stage.
There is only one solution in this situation: bring on Keyboard Cat to play them off in all their sweaty goodness.
In the end Google Wave was killed off quietly because it sucked. And I’m guessing the team behind it, who also muffed up on stage, were taken into a field and picked off one by one as well.
