What would you do if a giant hole formed underneath your bed suddenly and inexplicably? Assume it’s a gateway to Hell, obviously.
This video is a bit crap, let’s be honest. It just shows a couple of stills of the sinkhole. But it’s the best there is on YouTube so we’ll have to make do. It certainly doesn’t make the story any less compelling.
A 65-year-old woman heard a loud boom and discovered that this explosion of sound was as a result of a sinkhole forming under her bed. A sinkhole that is 32-inches in diameter and 40-feet deep.
This is actually a fairly small sinkhole, as sinkholes go. Some are hundreds of meters across and have swallowed whole buildings in a matter of seconds. Scary stuff. But still. Under your bed? That’s mortifying.
