Why have I never though of this in all my many years on Earth? I don’t go Trick or Treating anymore because I’m far too old for that kind of thing, but this? I’d be tempted to partake in this brilliant prank.
Trick or Treating is only fun for kids, with the parents generally stuck standing at the top of the path making sure the kids are all safe. But this is something for the adults to enjoy.
It wouldn’t take much to construct the fake Trick or Treater, and then it’s simply a case of placing them in someone’s porch, knocking on the door, and then retiring to a hidden location with video camera in hand.
The genius thing is you’ll either catch people out and get a laugh or catch them out even more and gain some treats out of it. It’s a win-win situation.
