I’m not what you’d call a big fan of Hannah Montana. This is mainly because I’m not female, not 8-years-old, and not a fan of cheap, by-the-numbers kids’ films with absolutely no merit.
But there are a lot of tweens out there who adore Hannah Montana and her double life of being an ordinary schoolgirl by day and an international pop star by night. So, smelling an opportunity to make some cash, they’ve made Hannah Montana: The Movie. Oh Joy.
This video is a review of the movie by Kyle Smith of The New York Post, complete with clips. Smith is a middle-aged guy just like me so can you guess without watching the video review whether he liked the movie or not?
The point Smith makes is that even looking at the film from the point of view of his young niece or daughter, he still doesn’t think it’s any good. I’m sure Hannah Montana: The Movie will do fantastically well and make lots of money but that doesn’t mean it’s actually any good.
