Ronda Rousey, female MMA fighter and renowned badass, has lost her bantamweight belt to Holly Holm. The latter knocked the former out with a spectacular roundhouse kick to the head.
Ouch, that’s got to hurt, especially the way Rousey landed on the ground, hitting her head on the canvas as she went down.
So, Holm is the new bantamweight champion, and people are left wondering whether Rousey will ever fight again. After all, she has already made her name and will be much in demand.
Rousey has put Women’s MMA on the map, and no one can ever take that away from her. However, her time at the top looks to be over, and it’ll be a hard slog for her to win her crown back.
