The official trailer for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has been released. And I have to say it’s pretty damn awesome.
This is unlike any other Harry Potter trailer I’ve seen before. There is more menace, more haunting images, more promise of things to come than ever. Is Snape good or bad? Who will live and who will die? Will Voldemort be finished off for good?
The only disappointing aspect for me is the utterly unnecessary addition of 3D. We’ve had seven Harry Potter movies in traditional 2D, so why make the final one 3D?
It’s not as though The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 wasn’t already guaranteed to make hundreds of million of dollars in profit. But I guess that’s the point, all those millions of loyal fans will now have to pay more to see the conclusion to the series.
