Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part I Review | Does HP7 Live Up To The Hype?

34 sec read

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part I came out today, and millions of eager Harry Potter fans have no doubt already made the trip to their nearest movie theater. But what do the pros think?

Well, one, the reviewer in this video, isn’t too impressed. The problem being that splitting the last book into two parts in order to give the ending the time it deserves means the first part is a bit dull.

Anyone who has read the book will know that most of the beginning and middle of the book concerns Harry and his friends searching for Voldemort’s horcruxes, and they go on a dull camping trip. In the book this dragged, and it drags even more in the film.

So there’s a definite feeling that The Deathly Hallows: Part I is more about setting up for the final film than anything else. But that won’t stop me or millions of others going to see it.
