Harvey Weinstein has been sentenced to 23 years in prison. The sentencing came after he was convicted of two sex crimes: one rape and one sexual assault.
The allegations against Harvey Weinstein, a former movie mogul who helped kickstart the careers of lots of actors and directors, kicked off the #MeToo movement.
While Weinstein has been jailed for two crimes, lots of other women, including some famous actors, have accused him of inappropriate behavior.
Weinstein is 67 years old and not in the best of health. Which would suggest that, barring a successful appeal or early release, he will die in prison.
