A massive fire has broken out at a Jim Beam warehouse in Kentucky. The Jim Beam fire destroyed 45,000 barrels of bourbon. Which is a tragedy for whiskey lovers everywhere.
Two warehouses caught fire, and while firefighters were able to extinguish the fire in one warehouse, the other has been completely destroyed.
It’s unclear what caused the Jim Beam fire. However, because alcohol is flammable, the whiskey itself fed the fire, keeping it roaring for hours.
I know there are more serious an devastating things to get upset over, but as someone who likes to drink a good bourbon on occasion, this is still a shocking sight.
