Anchorman is one of my favorite films of all time. It’s hilarious funny, and a scarily accurate portrayal of American news anchors.
However, every country now has news anchors, including the UK. And British news anchors tend to be a little more polite and unthreatening than their American counterparts.
This video shows three sets of British news anchors recreating the classic fight scene from Anchorman. Channel 4, ITV, and Sky all turn up, but the BBC bow out of this particular battle.
The ending is particularly good, as former Labour leader (and bacon sandwich fan) Ed Miliband turns up to forge an uneasy peace between the factions.
