Hilarious CES 2010 Fail Video | Reporter Breaks “Unbreakable” Phone

31 sec read

The world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, CES, recently wrapped up just days ago. The net is currently filled with fresh clips of all the great gadgets- and some not so great ones.

Take this demonstration for example. Here a BBC reporter is challenged to try to break a supposedly “indestructible” phone.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the reporter deserves a free phone. It should be noted that the phone is advertised as having a nearly indestructible hard-drive so that data will never be lost on it. The LCD on it, as you might be able to tell from the video, is just a normal LCD.

You’d think that if a phone could survive falling off a building and being underwater it could handle a fish-tank corner, but no. Why the company didn’t make the LCD out of bulletproof glass is beyond me.
