Not only did he get a response, which could be considered either a heckle or a joke, he got a few minutes of material, and now attention on the Internetz.
The response was just four simple words. But the war veteran who shouted, “We’re coming for you” set off a whole episode of hilarity.
It wasn’t a particularly funny joke, but it clearly took the comedian by surprise. That comedian, Deepak Sethi, spoke to the heckler after the show, and believes he wasn’t being racist. Thankfully.
