I’ve seen some dumb people in my time, and have even met a few, but this woman takes the top prize. Wow, she is borderline retarded.
Not everyone would know the answer to this question. Which is fine. It’s unimportant. But it’s what this woman says instead of “I don’t know” which turns her from simply unknowledgeable to decidedly dumb.
Apparently Europe is a country rather than a continent. And everyone there speaks French. As for Hungary, well that’s just a made-up name that even the quizmaster pronounces wrong.
While I know many Americans do take an interest in the rest of the world, many don’t. They seem to think the world revolves around the U.S.A. and that no other country or even continent matters. Which is pretty shameful.
