I’ve got to admit, I’m not a fan of Linkin Park. They’re just a little too whiny and pretentious for my tastes. However, the maker of this “tribute” video claims to love these wannabe rock stars.
Perhaps it’s his love of the band that allows him to so accurately take the mickey out of them.
From the overproduction, to the random rapping, to the formulaic songs, this guy’s really nailed what Linkin Park are all about.
I think the filmmaker should submit this video to the band. If they’re ever short on material for the next album, I’m sure this track would fit right in.
