Google Plus, or Google+ as Google calls it, is making headlines today. This is because the newest social network on the block (at the time of writing) is now open to all. That’s right folks, no invitation needed.
However, there is another alternative: Not Google Plus.
Not Google Plus, as this video from CollegeHumor details, is not Google Plus. Instead, it’s every state of being other than Google Plus. In other words, Not Google Plus is real life.
This is a cutting yet hilarious parody of Google Plus and, by definition, every other social networking site as well. The fact is none of us needs social networking because we have real lives and real friends.
Not that that stops me using Facebook, Twitter, and all the other sites though, naturally. They’re all so damn addictive!
