The last thing you want your dog to do during an obedience test is everything other than what he is meant to do. But that’s exactly what this stupid golden retriever does.
The idea of this test is this test is clearly for the dog to run straight to their owner upon being called, ignoring all of the various distractions planted along the way.
After seeing a few dogs doing exactly that, this dumb dog then scoffs every piece of food and plays with every toy positioned to tempt him. Oops.
Why the judges and handlers still give him and his owner a round of applause is behind me. Surely it would be more appropriate to boo him so that he knows he’s done wrong.
