This video starts off very simply, with a mum asking her son when the last he’d seen his gran was. With a bit of persuading he drives off to see her.
However, she isn’t at home in her granny flat, or even in an old people’s home. No, she’s living quite comfortably in a container at a Safestore warehouse.
Okay, so it’s a bit harsh, but she looks happy enough. While I would never describe my gran as “a thing you just can’t throw away,” it’s still funny.
By the time I get old (if I last that long of course), I can see it actually being a bit like this, with sheltered housing nothing more than boxes on top of one another. I can’t wait…
