I think everybody is in agreement at this point that The Simpsons has peaked. In fact, it peaked a long time ago.
However, some episodes are still extremely funny, and The Simpsons is picking up new, younger fans all the time. And then there are the couch gags, which are consistently funny.
This couch gag takes us back to the 1980s, imagining Homer as a Los Angeles cop called Joe Kazinsky. His gimmick is his mode of transport… a pimped-out couch.
You seriously need to watch this couch gag several times in a row to catch all of the little visual gags and references. You’ll probably see something new every time you watch it.
