Jimmy Kimmel has a regular slot on his show which features celebrities reading mean tweets about them. It’s funny, because celebrities are there to be ridiculed at any and every opportunity.
However, sometimes people tweet mean things about others who aren’t in the public eye. And often they condemn whole groups of people, such as the homeless.
This video, made by a Canadian homeless charity, shows homeless people reading mean tweets. And it shows how vile people can be on social networking sites.
By all means air your opinions about Nicki Minaj or Kanye West. But attacking homeless people who are already at their lowest ebb is absolutely shameful.
