I’ve heard people talking about Honey Boo Boo, but this video is my first exposure to her. Oh. Dear. God.
Honey Boo Boo is actually Alana Thompson, a six-year-old child who really would be better off being seen but not heard. Actually she’d be better not seen and not heard either.
Thompson is the star of her own reality television show titled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which follows her and her family around child beauty pageants. Somehow the show is a hit, and TLC has ordered more episodes.
I don’t know who is watching this series but I’ll pass. For starters I don’t agree with child beauty pageants, and secondly, well, this is just reality television at its lowest ebb.
