Horrifying IRS Star Trek Parody Video | This Is Your Tax Dollars At Work… No, Really

25 sec read

This, as you may have already guessed from the title, is a Star Trek parody. No, it’s THE Star Trek parody video, produced by the Internal Revenue Service.

It’s shockingly bad, with crap acting, a bad set, and costumes that must have been made by a rank amateur. And yet it cost $60,000 to make. Where did that money go?!

The video was produced by the in-house studio for an IRS training and leadership contest. Considering that Hollywood movies have been made for less it’s hard to fathom what happened here.

As should be expected some people have taken exception to their tax money being used on something that would appear to have no use to anyone whatsoever.
