I have a cat. His name is Hendrix. And he is one bad-ass mofo. Seriously, I once saw him run after a dog 20 times his size, claws out, eyes wide, looking for a fight. However, even Hendrix isn’t as awesome as this cat.
The video shows a bear approaching a house, with what sounds like a woman and child inside trying to scare it off. They fail, and it makes a grab for the garbage.
But then out from nowhere, eager to protect its territory and owners, a cat streaks out from the porch and confronts the bear. Its fur is on end, its hackles are raised, and it attempts to take a swipe at the bear.
The bear isn’t scared enough to retreat immediately, but it does run after once again grabbing the bag of garbage. Which I would class as a victory for the cat.
The woman and kid find the whole thing hilarious, but if the cat had been mauled and eaten it would have been a different matter. And it would have been their fault for placing garbage in the porch.
