As an atheist I don’t have to worry about televangelists begging for donations. They can ask, but they won’t get a penny out of me.
And even if you’re deeply religious it’s time to realize that television evangelists are not good people. In fact, they’re spreading misinformation.
The coronavirus pandemic has given televangelists a new way to convince their followers that they need to give them all of their money. Because how else can we fight back against a virus?
As this video shows, some have even claimed to have the cure for COVID-19. And if you believe that, maybe you and the TV evangelists deserve each other.
