If you’ve ever seen the movies “Hustle and Flow” or “8 Mile” then you’ll love this video. This college professor tries to relate to his students by turning into a gangster rapper.
Using the knowledge he’s acquired from TV and movies, he attempts a gutsy performance in front of 50 students. The fact that his rapping skills are sub-par has no relevance when it comes to this clip.
Even if you hate rap you’ll find this video hilarious.
He starts off by wearing a hat sideways. Then he moves on to sagging his pants. If you look closely, you’ll see that he even leaves the belt open! I can’t imagine his embarrassing excuse if an administrator were to walk in.
While I don’t see “DJ IDR” as Grammy-nominated material, I do respect the fact that he turns an entire classroom full of rowdy students into an interested audience.
I wish my teachers were this cool.
