Now that we’re in the grip of a global recession, the credit crunch is well and truly here. One of the best ways to beat it is to not get in to any more debt (easier said than done, I know.)
Credit cards have their uses, but they are also the work of the devil, making people who can’t afford to spend money, spend money, knowing they won’t have to pay it back for a few years.
The problem, of course, is that you do eventually have to pay back what you borrowed, and more, as the unfair interest rates kick in.
So, what to do? Easy: destroy your credit cards, and stop yourself getting in to worse trouble than you already are. But maybe scissors or a shredder don’t hold much appeal to you.
