It’s Bonfire Night, or Guy Fawkes’ Night in the U.K., when we Brits commemorate the failure of the Gunpowder Plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament.
It’s traditional to light a bonfire on the fifth of November, as well as set off fireworks into the night sky. But who needs fireworks when you’ve concocted a way of lighting a bonfire that is this much fun.
OK, so perhaps using a bazooka to light a bonfire is a little extreme. Certainly I wouldn’t recommend any normal, sane person try it for themselves. But this is why we have the Darwin Awards, which tracks those who have died doing idiotic things.
As dangerous as this may be, it’s also pretty awesome. And the bonfire that results is certainly spectacular.
