Fire tornadoes, also known as fire whirls, fire devils, fire twisters, and more besides, are really scary natural occurrences which combine swirling winds with fire.
If you encountered a full-sized fire tornado you’d be scared out of your tiny mind. And potentially fried alive too. Which doesn’t sound too appealing, if I’m honest.
However, fire tornadoes are undeniably pretty to look at, as these powerful flames swirl and bend up into the sky. So why not create your own mini firenado in your back garden?
That’s exactly what this YouTuber, who calls himself The Backyard Scientist, does. And the results are truly awesome for something which is really quite simple to achieve.
