At last year’s 911 Accountability Strategies and Solutions Conference Ex-Private Anderson had some things to say about the war in Iraq. Mind you, they weren’t pretty.
He also proposed two ways in which the average American can do their part to stop the war: 1) Help the GI resistance and 2) Stop paying taxes.
Of course, that’s easier said than done, but Anderson says that it’s more effective than any protest. What’s even more surprising is the fact that all that he talks about are his experiences from back in 2004. Years before the majority of the public knew that 911 and Iraq were unrelated, the troops themselves already knew.
If there’s anything we can learn from this video, it’s that Anderson isn’t the only Iraq vet who isn’t getting the support he needs from the US government. I, for one, commend him for putting his foot down and helping out AWOL soldiers.
