I’m a bit late on this, well a day late in fact. Yesterday was International Talk Like A Pirate Day. Stop sniggering at the back, it was, it really was. And what’s more this isn’t the first year of it either.
Apparently I’ve been living under a rock somewhere and didn’t realise that every September 19th is International Talk Like A Pirate Day when we are all meant to break out the “Arrrrs” and “Ma Hartys”.
But you don’t know where to start do you? Nope, nor me. Apart from knowing I need a parrot on my shoulder mimicking everything I say I haven’t got a clue.
This video is designed for numb nuts such as me and you who can’t decipher our “Avasts” from our “Jim Lads” and teaches us how to talk like a pirate in 6 minutes!
