This video shows a very special brand of idiocy or animal cruelty; you take your pick. It shows a pet parrot having a “ride” on the windscreen of his owner’s car.
This might be a fun game if you’re puttering slowly around the backyard, but when you’re zooming down the highway it’s a very different matter. The poor bird has no choice but to simply hang on, close his eyes, and wait for the journey to end.
You’ve got to wonder whether the man was recording the incident as he drove, or whether he was a passenger in the car. If he’s behind the wheel the video shows another level of lunacy, although not an entirely surprising one!
