It’s pretty clear to most people that Donald Trump isn’t a fan of foreigners. He expressed xenophobic views while campaigning, and hasn’t dropped the rhetoric since being elected.
In his view, all Mexicans are bad people who need to stay on their side of the border, and Muslims are only flying to the U.S. to murder innocent people. Sad.
On Thursday, February 6th, people across the United States will down tools as part of A Day Without Immigrants. This is designed to highlight how much immigrants contribute to society on a daily basis.
The big problem is people assuming immigrants wants handouts, when most just want the chance to work, earn money, and support their families. Hopefully A Day Without Immigrants will prove that.
