Some parents, students, and teachers in Indiana are campaigning to hold a “traditional prom” this year… which means only heterosexuals are allowed to attend. Because gays and lesbians are bad, or something.
It’s potty, obviously, and the Web has roundly turned on the bigoted individuals behind this unnecessary fight.

I find it astonishing that anyone would attempt to ban a certain section of society from attending an event such as a school prom. The next logical step would be to ban disabled people or those with a skin color other than white. It’s a slippery slope.
