Bridges are marvels of modern engineering, allowing us to cross lakes, rivers, and other previously uncrossable areas with ease. Or at least, some bridges are. Then there’s this one in Siberia.
This rickety bridge is suspended 15 meters above the water, and stretches for 570 meters. It’s not long before you realize that’s 570 meters too long.
My heart was in my mouth as I watched this car cross. It doesn’t even seem big enough for the vehicle. Heaven help him if someone decided to travel from the other direction!
I swear the first half of this bridge is held together by door hinges. And the less said about the tricky middle section, the better.
The most confusing part for me though is that there seems to be a perfectly good bridge to the right. So why risk your life crossing this one?!
