I’m not that big a fan of speed, being a non-driver, and never having flown. But maybe that’s the problem: I have never experienced it, and got addicted to the adrenaline rush.
Which isn’t a problem for the pilots of these jets, which display some incredible skills, as well as speeds by flying at very low altitudes, and making passes to entertain the crowds.
This behaviour is obviously highly dangerous, but it’s also very impressive, and gives the troops a real boost to know they have pilots who can do that, on their side.
I especially like the way some of the planes near the end of the video have a visible wave of air trailing behind them, which just further goes to show the incredible speeds they are travelling at.
