Everything comes with terms and conditions these days. From washing machines to Windows 10, from a rental agreement to a firmware update, everything is accompanied by reams of paperwork.
Some of these T&Cs are worse than others. And according to this video, it would take nine hours to read the Amazon Kindle terms and conditions.
OK, so we don’t see any proof of this, but if you timed yourself reading one page of any terms and conditions, and multiplied that by the number of pages, you’d get a rough estimate.
This is utterly insane. After all, you’re actually meant to read T&Cs before using the product or service it’s attached to. And who has got time for that?
