I’m sure this kind of cringeworthy news reporting was commonplace 40 years ago, but the world has thankfully moved on since then. I guess CNN never got the memo.
This is a CNN new report detailing Prince William and Kate Middleton visiting New Zealand, where they, like all other visiting dignitaries, are treated to a traditional welcome by Maoris.
Unfortunately, CNN decides it’s appropriate to mock the Maori culture and focus its report on the fact that one of the warriors had his bare bum on display.
The moment the reporter praises The Daily Mail and its choice of headline is the moment I turned off. The Daily Mail isn’t deserving of praise. And now, as a result of this crass reporting, neither is CNN.
