Most teenagers are self centered little brats working hard to figure themselves out. And then there are the exceptions like Graeme Taylor. Ellen DeGeneres recently interviewed this inspiring 14-year-old, who spoke up to publicly defend a well meaning teacher.
Apparently the educator was suspended for removing a student making anti-gay remarks from class. It boggles my mind that this can be a disciplinary offense, but that’s America for you.
Graeme is one of the most articulate and intelligent teens I’ve ever seen. If our future is in the hands of young men like this I think it’s looking pretty bright.
